This brown sauce is made of pureed dates, tamarind, fresh coriander, chillies, salt and spices. Its fruity, hot, sweet and sour taste is great with samosas, grilled meat and seafood. A great dip is made by mixing this chutney and plain yogurt and dipping crispy snacks.
